Our Mission

Mantic is a recently founded startup developing an AI superforecaster. Our mission is to solve forecasting to revolutionise decision making.

There are two main branches of forecasting: time-series or statistical forecasting, and judgemental forecasting. We are focussed on solving judgemental forecasting at scale.

Judgemental forecasting is about using judgement and reasoning to tackle forecasting challenges where time-series models fail — human affairs, conflict, business, sports, media, intelligence, foreign policy, and more.

State-of-the-art performance in judgemental forecasting is currently achieved by humans — specifically superforecasters. We're working to build an AI that can match or surpass them.
